Location
There was no hot water which was dreadful. We complained about this the first morning (Sat) and were told that the water tank runs out. We were offered to move next door but we agreed a £20 reduction per night. However, this was on the understanding that there was hot water at some point during the day. So we planned to have a shower at 4.00 on Saturday rather than early evening when the water might have run out. Still no hot water. Again, we got up early Sunday to shower before breakfast. So no hot water again. So not sure if there is ever any hot water coming out of the shower! This is completely unacceptable.

The hotel staff was really hard working and friendly and provided you with all the necessary information. Breakfast was sufficient. The location of the hotel in the beautiful Clifton district is also worth mentioning - five minutes walk to the Suspension Bridge, about twenty down the hill to the city centre. And a bus stop right outside the front door.
The hotel is divided into two old buildings with several floors (no elevator). Very sensitive. The single room is tiny, just enough room for a bed and a suitcase. Furnishings are okay, but the windows are from the old days. The shower had good water pressure, but the doors could not be closed completely, so when taking a shower some water ran on the floor. In the corners of the bathroom there were still some hairs of the previous tenant. Much worse than all this was the heat in the room which did not want to disappear despite the wide open windows and made me wake up again and again at night.

Thank you all for a very pleasant stay for one night. "There were openable French windows, a kettle, and an iron in my double room, liked it.- "The staff was genuinely helpful, provided a very good check-in and a late check-out.- "Ideal position was an added bonus.- "There were restaurants and bars next door.
